Trent has a broad tax practice that includes corporate tax planning and tax litigation & dispute resolution.
Prior to joining Felesky Flynn LLP in Calgary, Trent clerked for the judges of the Tax Court of Canada in Ottawa and articled at a national law firm in Vancouver.
Trent received his Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary, his Master of Public Administration from Queen’s University, and his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in History from the University of Guelph.
In law school, Trent won both the Chief Justice William McGillivray Mooting Shield and the Blackstone Debating Medal, competed in the Donald G.H. Bowman National Tax Moot and the Corporate Securities Law Moot, served as an editor of the Alberta Law Review, was a founding Runnymede Society chapter president, and volunteered with the Tax Court Assistance Project.
