Brett’s practice includes all areas of Canadian taxation law, with a particular emphasis on corporate tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, international tax planning and dispute resolution.

Brett is currently the Vice-Chair of Pro Bono Law Alberta, and the past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Children’s Legal and Educational Resource Centre.

Brett has spoken at a number of tax conferences, seminars and bar association meetings, and is has been a sessional professor at the University of Calgary, Faculty of Law.
