Zachary practices in all areas of tax law. He has a particular interest in resolving tax disputes. Prior to joining Felesky Flynn, Zachary articled at a full service, major regional law firm in Edmonton.
Zachary received both his Bachelor of Commerce (with Distinction) and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Alberta. Prior to commencing his legal career, Zachary completed internships with the Parliament of Canada, Department of Global Affairs, and at the University of Alberta’s Centre for Constitutional Studies.
During law school, he volunteered with Student Legal Services under the Civil and Family Law Project. He also participated in the Adam F. Fanaki Competition Law Moot (2021) and the Donald G.H. Bowman National Taxation Law Moot (2022).
Outside of work, Zachary enjoys learning to fly airplanes and exploring the world virtually through Microsoft Flight Simulator. He also builds scale plastic models of historic airplanes and classic cars.
