Dan V. Misutka

Dan practices tax law with a specialization in tax litigation and tax dispute resolution. He has experience advocating for a wide variety of clients, including individuals, private corporations and public corporations.

Dan focuses on bringing about a meaningful resolution of tax controversies at the earliest possible opportunity. He defends his clients against unjust and excessive assessments, so they can focus on their lives and building their businesses.

With nearly 30 years of experience as a litigator, Dan has appeared before the Tax Court of Canada, the Federal Court and all levels of Courts in Alberta.

Dan also has acted as counsel on behalf of the Minister of National Revenue and as federal prosecutions counsel. He is a regular speaker on tax dispute matters.
