Rory’s practice focuses primarily on tax litigation and tax dispute resolution at all stages. He completed his articles as a clerk at the Alberta Court of Appeal and spent an additional year as a clerk for the Honourable Justice Rosalie Silberman Abella of the Supreme Court of Canada.

Prior to joining Felesky Flynn, Rory worked at a national law firm, following which he spent over five years working as a tax litigator at the Department of Justice where he advised on audits and objections and conducted dozens of tax court matters. For several of these years, Rory also taught taxation at the University of Alberta’s Faculty of Law.

His years working within the courts and the Department of Justice make Rory uniquely effective in achieving efficient and desirable results in tax disputes of all types and sizes.
