Chris maintains a broad practice in all areas of tax law.

Before joining Felesky Flynn LLP, Chris’ practice focused on tax and estate planning for owners of privately held Canadian corporations and high-net-worth families. He also co-authored a paper for the Legal Education Society of Alberta focused on advanced tax issues in mergers and acquisitions involving the sale of private corporations.

Chris received his Juris Doctor (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta in 2022.  During his time at law school, Chris worked as a Writing Fellow for the Faculty of Law, in which he led group sessions on technical legal writing and research, and as an Editor for the Centre for Constitutional Studies. Chris also participated actively in mooting competitions, receiving recognition for excellence in competitions focused on appellate level advocacy and negotiating settlements outside the judicial process.
